MontroseAccess was founded in Brisbane in 1933 to serve Queensland children with disabilities and to support their families. Our organisation is a registered not-for-profit entity – without any religious or political affiliation. MontroseAccess treats children and young adults throughout Queensland with physically disabling conditions of varying severity including juvenile idiopathic arthritis, duchenne muscular dystrophy, charcot marie tooth, acquired brain injury and congenital limb deficiency. We also work with a number of children with rare conditions where the availability of assistance would otherwise be very limited. Services and programs are offered from birth to children who have been identified with one or more disability. Each client is assessed on an individual basis via a referral system. Where there is another organisation which provides condition specific services, we only provide complementary services that are not otherwise available. Consequently, we will not duplicate services which can be provided by other organisations.

Morija
Research/Dev
Morija means "The Eternal will provide" or, in accordance with another translation, "The Eternal sees". Therefore this name refers to the Christian values upon which the association was founded. It offers help on a social level, without any distinction of race nor religion, and its aim is to help orphans and deprived people of Africa in general and in Sahel more specifically. In 1974, shocked by the magnitude of famine that Ethiopia was living, a group of Christians, led by Michel Raboud, rose and decided to say no to fatalism by offering its help. Underdeveloped countries, mainly in Africa, suffer from drought, floods, famine and war. These countries have the highest child mortality rates as well as the largest number of Aids and illiteracy victims.

Over the past decade, Morton Plant Mease Foundation has granted more than $100 million to support the hospitals of Morton Plant Mease. Each year, between $7 and $9 million is granted toward the hospitals' areas of most immediate need - buying essential new medical equipment, supporting nursing education, funds for new and renovated facilities, hiring and training the area's best caregivers or covering the costs of care for patients who would otherwise be unable to afford treatment. Morton Plant Mease Foundation works with donors and volunteers to raise, manage and disburse these necessary funds. In a sense, we function as the donor's hands - reaching out to patients, physicians and the community - to provide resources that may not be otherwise available. We are dedicated to being a catalyst for improving the health of the communities we serve by inspiring unparalleled philanthropic support through innovation, dedication and compassion.
MOSI, Tampa
Children/Education
MOSI today is the result of 52 years of growth and maturity reflecting both the institution and the surrounding community. The passage of time has seen MOSI change in name, location, and size. However, its general purpose, that of providing informal science education, has remained essentially unchanged. In 1962, Hillsborough County first approved funding for a youth museum in Sulphur Springs on the banks of the Hillsborough River. Later renamed the Museum of Science and Natural History, this small museum provided natural science exhibits and education programs to children and adults. MOSI is accredited by the American Association of Museums and by the Association of Science-Technology Centers.
