Abandoned Cats Rescue is a completely independent rescue group that is 100% run by committed volunteers. Most of our cats have been rescued from an out-of-town Animal Control, typically the day before they would be euthanized. Since thousands are euthanized each year we can't help them all, so we work with the ones that are most adoptable. Our cats are housed in loving volunteer foster homes. All adoption fees and donations go completely to assisting the cats in our care. Our cats are spayed or neutered, checked by a vet, and treated for medical needs as necessary. We never euthanize animals we can't find homes for. Abandoned Cats Rescue is a Canadian Registered Charity. We're proud of this affiliation, because it reflects our dedication not only to the cats and kittens that we rescue, but also to the general public who adopt our cats and generously donate to us.
