MICAIA UK works closely with MICAIA Foundation in pursuing the priorities laid out in the MICAIA Manifesto. We believe that economic policies that promote global free trade and mass consumerism benefit only the elites, are deeply damaging to the planet, and destructive of communities, cultures and traditions. We also believe that there is an alternative ; local economic, social and cultural relations that are in harmony with the natural environment and blend modern science and technology with traditional knowledge.
