Habitat welcomes all people—regardless of race, religion, ethnicity or any other difference—to build simple, decent, affordable houses with those who lack adequate shelter.

Habitat for Humanity International is a non-profit, nondenominational Christian housing organisation. This group developed the concept of partnership housing — where those in need of adequate shelter would work side by side with volunteers to build simple, decent houses. In the decades that have followed Habitat’s model has been proven to work in over 90 different countries and over 300,000 houses have been built housing over 1 million people worldwide.
