The Glaucoma Research Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt national nonprofit. We seek out new approaches to glaucoma research, and we follow the funding through to results. Our continuing commitment has led to important and promising insights.Glaucoma is a serious vision disease and an "unseen" one. The public knows little about it. Many people with the disease are symptom-free until it is quite advanced. Then it's too late because loss of vision due to glaucoma is irreversible.
