Men, Women and Grief

Based in NZL New Zealand
Community/Family

Men, Women and Grief is a local Charitable Trust run by volunteers who themselves have been through a Bereavement of some kind. We fill a much needed gap in the bereavement cycle and wish to reach out to help those in the community who are in need of relief from the pain of loss. After the death of a loved one we can feel alone and isolated. Our volunteers have felt the sense of utter Isolation, the feeling that no-one understands just what you are going through and what you will go through in the months that follow. Grief is part of the process necessary to help us come to terms with that loss. Friends and family are a great support at this time and they care about us, but, unless they have been through the same experience it is difficult for them to really understand the depth of our pain and grief.
