Zoo New England is the private, non-profit organization that operates Franklin Park Zoo in Boston and Stone Zoo in Stoneham, Massachusetts. Conserving and preserving wildlife, both locally and abroad, is one of the cornerstones of Zoo New England's mission. When it comes to conservation, actions speak louder than words. That's why Zoo New England not only educates about the importance of wildlife conservation, but also actively preserves some of the world's critically endangered wildlife. As an accredited member of the Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA), Zoo New England participates in Species Survival Plans (SSPs) at Franklin Park Zoo and Stone Zoo as well as several conservation initiatives in the wild.
