The Trust aims to reduce the rate of accidents, injury and death associated with road transport through campaigns, partnership, training, events and policy influence to strengthen the management of road transport safety in Zambia.

The Zambian Road Safety Trust (ZRST) is a duly established Trust registration number 95180 that seeks to create awareness on road safety and contribute towards reduction in road traffic accidents. The Trust as a non-profit organisation registered in Zambia is funded by kind donations from individuals and companies and charitable grants.Zambians rely on the road network. We want your help to determine how to best continue reducing road deaths and trauma and to address issues such as training, speeding, drink driving and drug driving. The Trust works under the guidance the Trustees who ensure that the charity’s role as a trustee is always fulfilled. The trust strives to maintain transparency and accountability. All donated funds are monitored and reviewed by the Board of Directors who funds are spent correctly. The trust maintains a full and transparent audit trail from the donor to the beneficiary.
